With hinged cover, the exterior painted with gul-o bulbul floral designs with birds and butterflies on a black gound, the inside cover decorated with a nude courting couple in an italianate landscape with the watching head of a cherub in the clouds, with small signature and date in gold below, black border with gold floral design, silver hinges and clasp, edges slightly chipped
4½ x 3¾in. (11.5 x 9.5cm.)
