Lot Essay

Considered one of Delmo's favorite and most impressive designs this example captures both the colour and texture of the fruit. See Pat Reilly, Paperweights, London, 1994, p. 18 for a similar example. Here noted, 'Fruit was a specialty of the late Delmo Tarsitano, and his peaches were probably the most realistic.'
