The clear glass set with a floral bower including a spray of blue berries, five amber coloured flowers and two buds growing from conjoined stems and issuing numerous green leaves and four fall oak leaves, a mottled grey and brown spider hangs suspended by two fine filaments, the concave base is engraved with a spider web which has ensnared a dragonfly and a bee, cut with top and six side printies
3¾ in. (9.6 cm.) diameter; 2 3/8 in. (6.1 cm.) high

Lot Essay

A tour de force, this collaborative work combines the artistry of four masters. The flower arbour was created by Debbie Tarsitano, the spider by her father Delmo, the wheel engraving is the hand of Max Erlacher and the faceting was executed by Ed Poore.
