the former of shaped circular form and with an applied floral and foliate rim, reeded loop handle with leaf thumb piece, campana-shaped socket and detachable conical snuffer, engraved with initials, the underside later-pricked with a monogram, Messrs. Barnard, London 1840 - 3¾in. (9.50cm.) overall, the latter of typical form, maker's initials G.B., London 1838. (2)
