With a padded adjustable hinged back with scroll arms and shaped seat with adjustable pull-out foot rest, on turned baluster tapering legs with later brass caps and castors, stamped to each rear leg 'R DAWES OB GR PATENT', bearing the remnants of a trade label 'R DAWES'S RECUMBENT EASY CHAIR'
