A pair of Victorian novelty pepperettes
modelled as a seated pug dog and a seated cat, the former wearing a collar, the underside of each engraved with a naval presentation inscription dated 1879 to 1882, each also engraved with a Prince of Wales plumes crest, E.H. Stockwell, London 1877 - 2½in. (6.25cm.) and slightly smaller, 6oz.
