the former comprising: a reeded circular capstan inkwell with presentation inscription, a pair of dwarf candlesticks, a seal, a sealing wax holder and two further implements, in a fitted oak case, the late Victorian oblong silver-mounted leather desk blotter lined in moiré satin, the mounts pierced and die-stamped with rococo flowers, foliage and C-scrolls and with a vacant rococo cartouche, Birmingham 1890 - length of blotter 12¼in.
