Lot Essay

Yirrirrinkinya is a soakage water site west of Lake MacDonald in Yala Yala's country where he spent much of his youth. This water site figures prominently in the Tingari dreamings of the artist and is an important site associated with the initiation ceremonies of the young Pintubi men.
