A George III coffee pot
of plain baluster form, on a cast gadrooned rising circular base and with a shell-fluted leaf-capped rising curved spout, ebonised wood double scroll handle and gadrooned domed hinged cover with part-fluted baluster finial, one side with a body engraved with an armorial within a tied flowering branch cartouche, the other side engraved with a crest within a similar cartouche, Benjamin Gignac, London 1768 - 10½in. (26.75cm.), 29.75oz. gross.
