Tasting note: Smoky minerals are found in the 1997 Tokay-Pinot Gris Altenbourg Cuvee Laurence's nose. This luxurious, lush, medium-to-full-bodied, as well as velvety-textured wine is densely packed with mirabelles, apricots, and dried raisins. It is highly structured, in desperate need of cellaring, and offers an exceptionally long, delineated finish. Drink it between 2002 and 2010+.
