Some capsules corroded. Remains of original wires and tissues. Bin-soiled and damaged labels. Levels between 2 and 3cms. below base of corks, this equates to levels between upper and top-shoulder
Tasting note: Red/mahogany. Soft, sweet oaky vanilla aromas. Firm, good acidity, less rich than the '53 and '54. Elegant and fragrant. Plums and raisins.
