The quarter-veneered chequer-strung top with a dished edge hinging to a baize-lined interior with a further quarter-veneered and inlaid case, with fluted rounded angles and a veneered back on shaped bracket feet, with a partial inscribed label to underside of top listing linens and inscribed Chickerell Rectory/list of Hous...., the hinges to the top replaced
