INTERNATIONAL WINE CHALLENGE CHARITY AUCTION IN AID OF THE BBC CHILDREN IN NEED APPEAL

Wine International Magazine, on behalf of the International Wine Challenge, offer the opportunity to support the BBC Children in Need Appeal. Over 200 cases of award-winning wine, ranging from Argentine Malbec, Australian Chardonnay and Austrian Gruner Veltliner to Uruguayan Tannat and Zinfandel from California not to mention classics from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Chianti and Rioja - to be auctioned in aid of the Charity. The boxes of 12 wines have been selected by Christie's and Wine International staff to give a cross section of premium award winning wines from the International Wine Challenge. Its a complete lucky dip, but we have tried to give everyone a fair cross section of medals and wines. You may receive a bottle of sparkling, port, dessert or sherry as well as red and white wines from Australia to Chile, from France to America. Grapes are mixed as well, so there could be a Chardonnay and a Zinfandel, a Viognier to Shiraz. Its a great opportunity to drink some wines that you may never have tried before, all in aid of a great cause.
Wine International's own wine aficionados Robert Joseph and Charles Metcalfe have also committed their free time to be a personal sommelier for the day. Robert or Charles will provide expert advice to the two highest bidders of IWC wine, visiting them at their home (UK only) to talk through the wines they have purchased
