Cartouche-shaped, the sides and cover with embossed shell and scrollwork decoration, the slightly domed cover with two applied enamel plaques, one depicting The Massacre of the Innocents, the other a semi-naked woman seated by a well -- 2 5/8ins. (6.8cms.)
