Lynn Saville was educated at Duke University and Pratt Institute. Among her teachers was Philippe Halsman. Saville's photographs, with both urban and rural settings, are taken at twilight or dawn, as she describes it, 'the boundary times between night and day'. Her work can be found in a number of private and museum collections.
