THE FIRST KANGXI SIX CHARACTER MARK BOTH OF THE PERIOD
Decorated with a hunting scene showing two riders galloping on horseback armed with a spear and swords, alternating with floral panels on swastika pattern grounds, 26.5 cm. diam.; and a dish painted in the central panel with three figures in a fenced garden, the rim divided by four cartouches enclosing peony reserved on a trellis-pattern ground enriched by symbols, Chenghua six character mark, 29 cm. diam.
