KANGXI AND 19TH CENTURY
Comprising a bowl painted to the exterior with spirally moulded panels enclosing each a flower spray continuing to the interior, the centre with peony on rockwork encircled by a fine double-line border, Kangxi, 20 cm. diam.; a bowl decorated to the exterior with a hunting scene accompagnied by two bannermen, the interior with flowersprays, 17.5 cm. diam.; a dish painted with a man dreaming of a scene from the Romance of the Western Chamber, Chenghua six character mark, 33.2 cm. diam.; a plate painted with a terrace scene showing two figures visiting a high official, with silver swing handle, Chenghua six character mark, 26.8 cm. diam.; and a pair of Japanese hexagonal cups and three saucers, rim frittings (9)
