A set of four blue and white dishes
Late 17th/18th Century
Painted to the centre with two birds and butterflies hovering above a tree with blossoming flowers, the moulded well and rim with shaped panels enclosing peony stems, 26.5 cm. diam.; a saucer dish painted with the well-known 'Joosje ter Paard' scene, 22.8 cm. diam.; and a charger decorated overall with a dense flowering meander of peony, 35.4 cm. diam., frittings and a restoration (6)
