An assorted lot of blue and white mounted tea-caddies
THE PORCELAIN LATE 17TH/MAINLY 18TH CENTURY, the silver plate 19th century
Comprising three of rectangular shape with rounded shoulders, each side painted with scenes of pavilions in mountainous tree-strewn river landscapes, 12.5-13.5 cm. high; two of oblong octagonal shape, one painted to the ribbed sides with flowering peony, the other moulded with stylised lotus, 11.5-13.5 cm. high; two oviform jars and silver covers, one with three roundels of lotus, 16 cm. high, the second painted with flower-heads reserved on a washed-blue cracked-ice pattern ground, 14.3 cm. high; an oviform jarlet painted with a continuous river landscape, 13 cm. high; and a celadon-glazed and blue and white sugar caster, 18.3 cm. high; all with silver-plated covers (9)
