The conical sides painted with a ho-o bird perched on rockwork and watching another in flight among flowering peony and pomegranate, the base formed with a kiku head centred with an aperture to fit a tap, the strap handle and shallow domed cover modelled to accomodate a mount with thumb-piece, mounts missing, base star crack
