PROBABLY CHAMBERLAIN'S WORCESTER, FIRST QUARTER 19TH CENTURY,
comprising two crested sauce-tureen stands and a crested oval platter, the crest of a snarling griffin within a wide border of yellow lozenges reserved on the dark iron-red ground; a similarly decorated coffee-can and saucer; a deep plate with concentric bands of decoration and alternate paterae and urns; a saucer dish decorated and gilt with trailing oak leaves and acorns on an orange ground; and a coffee-can and two saucers painted with a colonnade of dark iron-red and black leaves on an orange ground; together with a Spode pearlware plate transfer printed and reserved in iron-red with classical figures on vases and in panels
