Each with three peasant maidens realistically modeled wearing a sarafan with gilt trimmings, on a large circular base with a light lavender band between gilt borders, surmounted by a gilt circular pedestal

Lot Essay
The lavender color used on the base is very similar if not the same as the one used on the Farm Palace service in Peterhof.
