Oblong, with fluted and scalloped border, the field engraved with a crest within a cartouche, marked on reverse, together with a pair of silver-gilt sugar nips, maker's mark IG incuse, circa 1750, of scissor form, with shell nips, engraved with a crest, marked on interior of shell
