The 'Ultrafragola', with its illuminated and undulating outline is suggestive of a transcendental Pop spirituality. An integral subtlety is the symbolism of mirrors as doorways to alternative universes, suggesting a balance between reality and illusion. This motif had been initiated in Jean Cocteau's 1949 film 'Orphee', wherein mirrors represented the passage between the present and the Underworld.

This scarce example of an 'Ultrafragola' is from the original 1970 series.
