the arched case with urn finial supported by screaming mask uprights, centred by lion mask, cast with foliage to the front and flowerhead lozenges to the sides, the dial with individual white enamel cushion cartouches (two damaged) and blued spade hands, flanked by pilasters, on shaped fluted base with scroll feet, the twin going train movement with countwheel strike on bell -- 17¼in.(44cm.) high; and the pair of five-light side candelabra on urn supports, French, late 19th/early 20th century
