A Safavid tinned copper bowl, Iran, 17th century
Of rounded form with vertical mouth and everted lip, the neck with a band of continuous cursive script, vine bands above and below, the shoulder with a plaited band above a band of trefoil motifs -- 10½in. (26.7cm.) wide.
