the case modelled as a barrel, with grape and vine mounts, flanked by two Bacchic amorini, the white enamel Arabic dial painted with floral swags (cracking and chipping) with pierced foliate gilt hands, on breakfront case with fluting and Carrara marble plinth with recessed panels with floral mounts, on gadrooned and stiff leaf toupie feet, the twin going barrel movement with strike on bell, stamped on the backplate S.H. PARIS -- 14¾in.(38cm.) high; and the two associated twin-light side candelabra, the branches cast with grapes and vine leaves supported by Bacchic amorini resting on tree stumps, French, last quarter 19th century
