The shaded mid-blue field of each, filled with palmettes, leafy vine and cloudbands around a sky-blue cusped medallion filled with scrolling strapwork and delicate flowering vine, an extended cartouche panel and palmette pendant above and below, the ivory spandrels with scrolling arabesques issuing delicate flowering vine, in a brick-red palmette and scrolling leafy S-motif border between narrow floral meander and reciprocal skittle-pattern minor stripes, corroded green and brown, spots of wear, minor repair and repiling in the outer stripes on both
