AN ITALO-CORINTHIAN POTTERY FOOTED ARYBALLOS
EARLY 6TH CENTURY B.C.
Decorated with broad red and black concentric bands around the body and rim, tongues around shoulder, 2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high; another similar ovoid aryballos with red and black band decoration and tongues around the shoulder, the pointed base with knop, early 6th Century B.C., 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.) high; and a Middle Corinthian Geometric lekythos-oinochoe with squat conical body, tall neck and trefoil lip, triangular motifs around shoulder, horizontal bands on body and neck, 800-770 B.C., 3¾ in.
