with chiming section playing on twelve bells, the painted arch dial with subsidiary chime/silent and Sunday-Saturday seven-tune indicator dials, the three-train fusee movement striking on a further bell and signed on the engraved backplate John Wyatt, Altrincham, in mahogany case with arched top, gilt finials, side-grilles and carrying handles and glazed rear door, late 18th century -- 21½in. (55cm.) high (lacking centre finial)
