with painted brick facade, side windows to first floor, central door with semi-circular window above, front opening to reveal two rooms, chimney breasts with brass grates, the chimney flu links both fireplaces and exits through roof, the downstairs kitchen with working brass spit mechanism, spit holder over breast, fitted water system, dresser and bread oven?, green painted walls and painted tiled floor, the upstairs room with marbled paper fire surround and papered walls and floor, furniture and inhabitants including an early English gilt paper sofa with royal crest to back, scrolling arm rests and silk upholstery, a painted paper crib with leather baby, three Grodnerthal painted wooden dolls (most limbs replaced or missing); a bisque shoulder-head doll, a glass owl and other items, early 19th century? --19¾in.
