a wooden dolls' house of three bays and two stories with kitchen extension, painted deep red on the fronts and buff on the sides, with balcony, turned supports, bay windows and red rooves with barge board decoration to the eaves and high flat pediment to the main house, opening to show four rooms with staircase, large landing, fixed interior doors, chimney breasts with curved alcoves, furnishings and fittings including tinplate range, towel rail, bone window snibs, a Westacre corner washstand, early 'combed' rosewood pieces, a bisque-headed gentleman, other dolls' house dolls, a cuckoo clock, a pair of balloon backed chairs upholstered in mauve velvet, circa 1870, kitchen dresser, soft metal wringer, blue and white china, dogs and copper vessels --45in. (115cm.) long, 34in. (86cm.) high and 17in. (43cm.) deep, inscribed 1870 (some restoration, front probably overpainted some time ago)
