With gilt finished chain fusée movement, verge escapement, pierced and engraved cock, diamond endstone, with fixed barrel and five-wheel train fixed to a centre pinion in eccentric adjustable pushing to regulate the automaton, the small white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer ring with Arabic five minute divisions, blued steel hands, set to the centre of a mosaic of rubies, with eight paste-set stars that spin when the lever at 11 is activated, in plain case with ruby-set pendant, the outer case set with agate panels within ruby and seed pearl frames between pierced paste-set florets, the front bezel similarly set, with paste-set pushpiece, movement signed, case with maker's mark for Peter Mounier
