The first in typical sailor's garb, one modelled seated on a barrel, the other standing to his side aboard a boat flanked by flags, on a shaped oval gilt-lined base (restored chip to standing sailor's hat, slight chip to one flag and to edge of base); the musicians groups modelled as a gentleman and companion wearing plumed hats, he holds a dog and she carries a guitar, a tambourine at her feet (one figure restored at neck and his companion restored to plume of hat); the clock-face group modelled as two foresters in green uniform, flanking a clock surmounted by a deer, on an oval mottled base (deer restored)
