Almost certainly painted in the atelier of Robins and Randall, after Francois Levaillant, the first painted to the centre with a vignette of The fork-tail & Indian Butcher-Bird, balanced on the branch of a tree-tump and in flight, the second painted to the centre with a vignette of The least Butcher Bird, each within a C-scroll-moulded border decorated with cartouches of pink, purple and blue garden flowers and cartouches of fruits on a bed of leaves, within a scalloped gilt dentil rim (small patches of wear)
Both 8¼ in. (21 cm.) wide (2)
