CIRCA 1820, IRON-RED AND BROWN CROWNED CROSSED BATONS AND D MARKS
Painted in the Meissen Marcolini period style in iron-red and brown with insects among sprays of flowers within gilt dentil, dot and line pattern rims, comprising: a two-handled ice-pail, cover and liner (patches of staining and wear and firing cracks to inner well of cover), two sauce-tureens, covers and stands (faint crack to one finial), three shell-shaped dishes, two lozenge-shaped dishes, two kidney-shaped dishes (small crack to one rim), a lobed lozenge-shaped dish and nineteen plates (two cracked, one chipped)
