An English porcealin part dessert-service
CIRCA 1870, IRON-RED PATTERN NUMBER 3967
Painted with birds on branches, within oval-pierced green borders painted with three oval cartouches of flowers, enriched in gilt, within shaped rims, comprising:
two high comports supported by three scantily-draped recumbent putti, on tripod gilt leaf-scroll bases (some glaze cracking to putti and further cracks to base of one, the second with cracks to base)
two low-comports with tripod gilt acanthus scroll bases
and ten plates (some light rubbing to enamels generally)
