CIRCA 1810, THE FIRST WITH INCISED B
The inkstand of shaped rectangular form, the upper deck pierced with three apertures before three pen holders, the central holder forming a handle moulded with a bird's head, the tray scroll-moulded, painted with bands of flowers (light rubbing), the cup, the cover and stand with similar decoration (the cover a contemporary match, minor chipping to rim of cover, cup and finial)
