Two late 19th-Century mahogany specimen cabinets,
the smaller with front door, three full-width and eight half-width drawers (four stuck) containing a variety of fossil specimens, the drawers hand-labelled for: Belemnoidea, Pentecrinites fossils (Blum) Lower Lias Lyme Regis, Gastropoda, Carboniferous Irish Province (x2), Bivalvia, Vertebrata, Annelida, Ammonoidea (x2) and Echinodermata -- 51.5cm. (20¼in.) wide; the larger with no door but the front right hand upright panel hinged to keep the seven drawers in place, with turned handles (one broken) and each numbered, containing a variety of fossil specimens, three hand-labelled for: Brachiopoda, Bivalvia, Porifera and Miscellaneous Oversize (top surface missing, partially replaced and damaged) -- 106.5cm. (41 7/8in.) high
