A 19th-Century Swiss aneroid altimeter,
by Th. Usteri-Reinacher ZÜRICH, no.4115, the brass drum with rotating glazed top and paper correction table, with a silvered scale around the side, the side of the drum with thermometer and ivory scale for aneroid index, with magnifier, screwed into a shaped leather case with instructions for use in the lid and brass catch stamped L.Z. PARIS -- 12.3cm. (4 7/8in.) wide; and a brass-cased compensated aneroid barometer by F. Darton & Co. LONDON no.2348, with ivorine dial, blued-iron needle and suspension loop, in a circular leather case impressed with a fleur-de-lys on each side -- 14in. (5½in.) wide
