A mid/late 19th-Century British mahogany domestic medicine chest,
the double doors fitted with red plush-lined galleries to house six bottles each, the upper central part divided into a red plush-lined gallery to house five bottles, the lower central section with six drawers with ivory pulls, some compartmentalised with red plush lining, a back compartment concealed by a sliding panel with red plush-lined gallery to house five bottles, the case with brass carrying handle and two shield-shaped escutcheons (keys missing) -- 29 x 25 x 18.5cm. (11 3/8 x 9 7/8 x 7¼in.)
