Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with 89 diamonds, approx. 9.60 carats, 12 sapphires and platinum bracelet in 1960 and its subsequent sale on 16 October 1961.

This watch is an exceptional example of Patek Philippe's outstanding ability to not just be a leader in the field of horology, but also innovative designers and jewelers. It was most probably made by special order as no other reference 3447 is known to have appeared in public to date.
