Cal. 13''' nickel-finished lever movement stamped twice with the Geneva seal, 23 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, the pink matt dial with applied baton and Roman numerals, outer tachometer scale, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 30 minutes register, in circular case with downturned lugs, snap on back, two rectangular-shaped chronograph buttons in the band, case, dial and movement signed
33 mm. diam.

Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Certificat d'Origine et de Garantie and Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with pink dial in 1941 and its subsequent sale on 30 January 1943. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe original fitted presentation box.

The present watch was acquired by the grandfather of the present owner from Patek Philippe in 1943 and has remained in the family since. Its rarity is furthermore enhanced by the rare combination of a pink gold case and pink dial and the excellent overall condition. In addition it has never been offered in public before.
