Furthermore delivered with the original envelope, sales tag with handwritten Ref: 2597 729446 and original fitted presentation box.
Production of reference 2597 with movement caliber 12'''400 HS for heures sautantes or jumping hours, was launched in 1958. The present watch is from the first series featuring an independently adjustable hour hand whereas the second version, introduced in 1962, included a second silvered hour hand.
It is thought that less than 20 known examples of this model exist. The rarity of the present lot however is further enhanced by its excellent condition and additional feature of the original certificate, sales tag and presentation box. Furthermore it has never been offered in public before.
