BLUE RAMPANT LION MARK, INCISED CAPITAL PH1, CIRCA 1760
Of bullet shape, the moulded dragon spout and wishbone handle enriched in gilt, painted in colours with landscape vignettes in the manner of Boucher, on one side with a gallant and companion seated before a rocaille vase and on the other with a gallant standing beside his companion in a rural landscape, scattered flower sprigs, the cover with pear finial and similar vignettes, one of a single woman, the other of a dandy with walking stick, the rim with gilt line and tassel decoration
