Blue crossed swords and star mark, blue to the footrim, the teapot incised 89, circa 1780
Both painted with pastoral scences, the teapot with gilt and ribbon tied swag surrounds and entwined handle enriched with gilt; the hot-milk jug with iron-red and gilt sprays, the handle softly moulded as a branch, the spout as a leaf, the cover lacking
3½in. and 5in. (9.7cm. and 12.7cm.) high, respectively (3)
