The porcelain 18th century and incised M, the 'jewelling' applied at a later date, spurious gilt interlaced L's mark enclosing jj for 1786 and gilder's mark for Henri Martin Prévost
Applied with gold foil and enamelled in bright colours with foliate scrolls enclosing beaded medallions, gilt dentil rim
4½ in. (11.4 cm.) diameter
