A Berlin KPM porcelain Bacchus group
MARKED WITH UNDERGLAZE BLUE SCEPTRE, RED ORB ABOVE KPM, IMPRESSED NUMERALS, CIRCA 1900
Gilt and painted in colours, modelled after a Meissen original (circa 1750) with Bacchus wearing a pelt, seated on a barrel raising a goblet, flanked by a maiden and three putti, one filling a bottle and one seated on a goat, on shaped rocaille base (minor restoration to extremities)
