MARKED WITH UNDERGLAZE BLUE CROSSED SWORDS ABOVE A STAR AND .4, FURTHER WITH VARIOUS NUMERALS IMPRESSED AND IN GILT AND BROWN, 1780-1790
Gilt and painted with elaborate flower bouquets in gilt, green brown and with blue forget-me-nots, the urn-shaped bodies with green-enhanced acanthus leaf spouts and handles with pearl line in relief, the domed covers with flower finial, comprising: a coffee pot and cover, 26 cm. high; a hot milk jug and cover, 20 cm. high; a cylindrical teapot and cover, 21 cm. wide; a sugar bowl and cover, 13.5 cm. high; a tea caddy and cover, 13 cm. high; twelve cups and saucers (wear to the gilt) (34)
