Finely painted with the Toilette of Venus, the diaphanously draped goddess on a raised seat, a putto showing her jewels, an attendant choosing a girdle, another bringing flowers and a third dressing her hair, on a balcony, the burgundy border enriched with gilt foliage, scrolls and swags, the outer rim with a gilt enamelled with white 'jewels'
